Seeking an easy apple or pear cake?

Well we have the answer and this recipe is why it is known as the EASY APPLE/PEAR CAKE

Ingredients:

1 cup self raising flour.

1/2 cup of butter or margarine (margarine is easier to mix in)

1/2 cup of sugar

1 egg

3 apples or pears

1/4 cup of milk

a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Instructions

1. Grease and line the bottom of a cake tin so the cake wont stick,

2. Put in a bowl flour, butter or margarine and the sugar - mix well,

3. Add 1 egg,

4. Add the apples/pears -  peeled, cored,  quartered and thinly sliced, making sure to leave 4-5 slices to decorate the top in a swirl at the end,

5. Add the milk,

6. Mix well with knife or fork,

7. Place mixture in cake tin,

8. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

9. Cook in an oven at 180 degrees for  45 - 50 mins.
