Seinfeld - A Retrospective
Seinfeld was the 1990s for many people across the globe and now with the advent of digital TV new generations are able to enjoy the neuroticism of Jerry, Kramer, George and Elaine.

Portraying a time before mobile phones, the Internet and social networking Seinfeld personifies the 90s generation.

Through fashion including big hair, high waisted jeans worn with a jacket and runners Seinfeld appears quaint but to the new viewer the topics are still present in our day to day activities suggesting that while fashion and technology changes true foundations of relationship humor don't.

The Soup Nazi, the Moil, Poppy getting sloppy, The Urban Sombrero, Festivus, Shrinkage, Serenity Now and the Contest all strike home today as much as they originally did.

This is credit to Seinfeld and his creative team who gave created a comedy with longevity.

While watching Seinfeld for the umpteenth time I an left pondering as to why their has been a void of recent years of decent comedy. Sure there has been The Big Bang Theory and 2 and a half men but really will these have the longevity of Seinfeld? I think not.

Seinfeld knew that comedy does not always have to concentrate on sex and that to share the limelight with your fellow cast will strengthen and develop the show both of which the previously mentioned shows should pay heed to.

So sit back, put your feet up and relax and enjoy the offering that is Seinfeld.
