The Geneva Motor show offered Mazda the opportunity to showcase its Mazda Minagi concept SUV. Embodying the recently unveiled SKYACTIV technologies and a new Kodo design centred around soul in motion the Minagi provides the buying public with an insight of things to come.

While still a concept the Minagi is clearly a compact crossover SUV and should it go to full production will compete in one of the most hotly contested sectors of the car market.

 

Over recent years Mazda has applied consistent design concepts across its entire range and the Minagi is no different with it following closely in the footsteps of the Shinari concept which debuted in 2010.

The Minagi still appears to have some of the design features of current models but is a far cry from the Mazda Tribute of the early 2000s.

Through its design Mazda continues to be cutting edge and provides that point of differentiation with the competition.

The Mazda Minagi is certain to impress the discerning buyer when it is eventually released and is clear evidence of Mazda's commitment of creating cars which centre around Kodo - soul of motion.
